Monday 1st June 2023: PNPGC Men’s Crew Training

First 6.5km gig row after 3 weeks in Ireland 🇮🇪. Did not start Garmin until well into the row: Cox: Julie, 6: Tina, 5: Emma, 4: Steve, 3: Trevor, 2: me, 1: Steve. Raced from Penzance harbour into Newlyn harbour and practiced a couple of buoy turns for the Burnham on Sea races on the 10th June. Border Force boat in Newlyn harbour. Felt reasonable considering very little exercise other than walking Fudgey boy during my stay in Ireland. Few 🍻 in sailing club afterwards with Julie, Steve, Trevor and Tina

I am a recreational vet runner coming back from injury and turning to triathlons and other adventure sports such as gig rowing for fun, fitness, weight loss. I am also an amateur photographer trying to master my camera and GoPro to produce some great images in future. This blog will follow my fitness progress as well as blogging and taking photos and videos of interesting events on holiday or in the beautiful surroundings of Cornwall.
