Sunday 23th July; PNPGC GRR race crew endurance training

A long Endurance Great River Race (GRR) crew training row of over 21 km / 13 miles from Penzance Harbour to Praa sands circling the Mount and back. Very choppy seas and cloudy ☁️. Cox: Wendy, 6: Jem, 5: Julie, 4: Steve, 3: Trevor. 2: Alison, 1: me. Quite a challenging row due to high waves but fantastic training to improve our endurance for the London Great River Race in September – 2/3 there for the distance for the 34Km or 22 mile race. Summary of the long row above in difficult conditions. We followed this by going to the dock in Penzance for a few celebratory drinks and crew team building as the whole team did a great job in the challenging seas Also lots of laughs of course 🏴‍☠️🚣🏿
