After weeks of rain and high winds we managed to get on the water for a 4km gig row practicing starts and power rowing 🚣♀️ in choppy seas. We also did an oars up in honour for Wendy’s husband Godfrey who died. Cox: Julie, 6: Steve 5: Emma, 4: Kevin, 3: James 2: Jonny, 1: me. Afterwards went for a few pints in the Longboat.
I am a recreational vet runner coming back from injury and turning to triathlons and other adventure sports such as gig rowing for fun, fitness, weight loss. I am also an amateur photographer trying to master my camera and GoPro to produce some great images in future.
