Birthday Trip to London Tuesday 4th -Friday 7th November 2025 by Train

On 4th November went to London with Jacqueline on Train from Penzance to Waterloo to meet up with my Felsted school friends from Windsor House – Graham and Mark for a catch up after over 50 years. Met in the Lamb and Flag followed by a nice meal at Parsons a fish restaurant.

On 5th November had an meeting near Hatton Garden followed by a walk and shopping in Oxford Street in the evening met up with our friend Viv with some fizz in her brother’s apartment overlooking the London Eye followed by a Lebanese meal nearby.

On my birthday on 6th November went to the Walky Talky building or sky view, however needed to book 3 weeks before! Went onto the Battersea Power to have a walk around. After took the Uber Boat back to accommodation which was a lot more comfortable to see the views along the Thames than The Great River Race that I did a few years back with PNPGC. Arrived back at the London Eye near the accommodation in Waterloo

Went back to accommodation to freshen up before going out for a quick pre- theatre meal before going to St Martin’s Theatre to watch the Agatha Christies ‘Mousetrap’ which was great and reminded our trip to Loughborough for our murder mystery dinner on a steam train outlined earlier.
