Lovely evening row in slightly choppy seas. Lot’s of turns and racing starts as well as 10min with the bucket as resistance. Cox: Barry, 6: Michelle, 5: Tom 4:Steve, 3: Trev. 2; Me 1: James. Great to have a lot of variety in the training.

Lovely evening for race training row to Newlyn harbour and back. Cox: Wendy, 6: Steve, 5: Trev, 4: Emma, 3: Barry, 2: me, 1: James. Sunny 🌞 and calm seas. Changed seats to streamline gig. I went into 1 and James into 2. Emma went into 3 and Barry into 4.

The race for the vets men’s was the first race after the ladies but before the Supervets which is the race at where our ladies were participating. The first race was St Agnes followed by the Nutrock. After a few days awful weather, nice 6.6km long row towards the Mount and back in sunny 😎 weather. Sea reasonably good. Cox: Emma, 6: Jem, 5: Trev, 4: Me, 3: Wendy, 2: Chris, 1: Branchy. Afterwards went to Longboat for a drink and collected new kit from Wendy.
