Sunday 27th August 2023: 10km C2 RowErg sessions
Final RowErg sessions to complete the 40 km last week challenge a day early making well over 100 Km from the 1st August to 28th August. Will post the final total tomorrow for the last day with certificate as hope to do a quick short RowErg tomorrow.
Saturday 26th August 2023: C2 RowErgs and Row at Coverack Regatta
Rowed for St Ives Gig Club in the Men’s B at the Coverack Regatta in Fortitude. Came 9th out of 12 teams. Couple of RowErgs to make up the 10km for the day for the C2 Challenge
Friday 25th August 2023: Two 5km sessions on C2 Row Erg
Two 5km rows on C2 RowErg as part of the last week of the C2 RowErg August Dog Days Challenge
Thursday 24th August 2023: Just over 10km on C2 RowErg
After giving blood 🩸 on Tuesday and rest carried out two 5km C2,RowErg sessions as part of the the last week of the C2 RowErg Dog days Challenge which is 40km between 22-28 August.
Monday 21st August 2023: PNPGC GRR training row
Just over 9km PNPGC GRR training row from Penzance harbour to Mousehole harbour and back. Cox: Wendy, 6: Jemima, 5: Julie, 4: Sarah, 3: Trevor, 2: Alison, 1: Me. Quite a choppy sea especially coming into Penzance harbour as the Scillonian just arrived. Quick drink with the crew in Longboat
Saturday 19th August 2023: 3 quick training sessions on RowErg
3 sessions just under 5km practicing on RowErg to home technique.
Friday 18th August 2023: Quick 5km blast on the RowErg.
Quick training 5km, 23min virtual row on C2 RowErg. Like to bring the pace down to under 2min.
Saturday 12th August 2023: A series of C2 RowErg training sessions
A series of training sessions on C2 RowErg making just over 6km.
Thursday 10th August 2023: Training C2 RowErg pyramid session
A good pyramid session as follows: 100m,200m,300m,400m,500m,400m,300m,200m,100m each with a minute rest. Started off well but slowed down in the mid section as ran out of puff 💨. Need to do a few more of these to build up anaerobic endurance.
