A 5km RowErg training session also taking part in the recent ergdata Dog Day Challenge for August. First week 10K and on day 3 achieved this with over 12k. However 2nd week to the end will be a real challenge. See Challenge below after stats.

Wednesday 2nd August: Virtual Training Row on RowErg.
Started a virtual training row on ErgRow before being interrupted by a phone call. Glad as pretty boring rowing 🚣♀️ for long distances on RowErg but a nice session but need to get the pace down to closer to 2 min/500m with initial catch also keeping stroke rate to 22-24. See different stats below

Wednesday 19th July 2023: Did a Technical training session on Concept2 RowErg with Dark Horse
Did a training session working out the correct technique on the Concept2 RowErg. Nice relaxed 😎 training session on YouTube which I need to put into practice on future training rows. Summary of sessions below. Everything was done at a slow pace, but still covered 2.5km.
Monday 17th July 2023: Quick RowErg Row on Concept2
Friday 14th July 2023: Training Row on RowErg
Training endurance 10km row on Ergo for the River race. This was followed by a short strength training session with weights
Saturday 8th July 2023: Quick row on Ergo
Quick row on Concept2 ergrow to increase fitness for the Great River Race in September. Need to quicken the time per 500m and distance. I think more flexibility in hips by Pilates to increase forward reach and length of stroke. Good workout though.
Thursday 20th April 2023: Quick interval training blast on Ergrow machine
imputed the above interesting magnificent seven interval into the PM5. However missed out the rest period after 400m, so pace a little out but pleased 😃 as times are coming down to below 2min/500m in places. Last 100 m in particular due to better technique on the machine.
Friday 14th April 2023: Two Concept2-RowErg interval sessions with strength fitness session
Nice couple of Concept2 RowErg training sessions of just over 2600m. Bringing the times down with better breathing 😮💨. Can’t wait to get back on the water 🚣♀️ tomorrow morning as weather looks better for a good crew row.
