Thursday 6th February 2025: 3000m C2 RowErg training Fartlek row followed by strength session

The above row was a Fartlek training row to be followed by others in preparation for the Scillies. It was 200m@20spm, 600m@24spm and 200m@28spm. This was repeated 4 times to make 5000m in total. This as followed by the following strength session

Tuesday 4th February 2025: 3km C2 RowErg row followed by strength training.

Nice training 3000m C2 Row Erg followed by strength training and stretching. Dumbbell arm row for both arms 5×5 (10kg) weights, dumbbell bicep curl 5×4 (10kg) barbell Bench press 5×5 (20kg), dumbbell triceps curls 5×5 (6kg), barbell squats 5×5 (20kg). 30 min plank and 50 crunches for abs. Thursday 30th January 2025: WattBike ride on a Dutch Fulgaz route and a short strength session

Nice fast WattBike ride on the Netherlands ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ route as above. Lovely scenic video of the area along the river. Followed this with a strength session on Barbell bench press 5×3, dumbbell one arm row of 5×5 both sides. Barbell bicep curl, barbell tricep 5×3. Barbell squat 5×3, barbell side bends.

Thursday 23rd January 2025: 35 minute RowAlong fitness session at Zone 2

35 minute RowAlong fitness row at Zone 2 at 20 strokes a minute. Also 4 minute warm up and 2 minute cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž down. Followed this with a short 10 min strength session 5×3 dumbbell bicep curl 10 kg. 10 x Barbell bench press 20kg and 10 dumbell triceps pulls at 6kg.

Wednesday 22nd January 2025: Fitness Training C2 RowErg row with RowAlong with John Stevenson

Steady fitness training 5 day program challenge row with RowAlong with John Steventon. Nice steady row with 4 minute warm up followed by two 15min sessions at a slow steady pace and 2 minute cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž down with some stretches to finish. Lots of technique instruction as well.
