Saturday 29th April 2023: Day 3 Nut Rock race for Supervets

Morning still foggy but we hoped that things clear up. Coverack SV crew ready for action. We rowed out in the fog and lined up in our groups for the shorter 2.15km Nut Rock race. We were group B and waited for our group to come forward. We had a great start but somehow we were slower than yesterday but a good race against clubs. All I could see was one boat on the stroke side all others were on the bow side. The strava information is shown below which was started before

So after this race our final position was 23 out of 42 as shown below.

A very great result and enjoyed rowing πŸš£β€β™€οΈ for Coverack SV team in this great Competition. As this is my first Scillies, I look forward to next year after taking part in more races on the regatta circuits. The rest of the day I watched the open for the rest of the day where both Coverack women and men both A and B teams did well especially both A teams which were in the top 5 for the first two races. Looking forward to the finals tomorrow. In the evening met up with my PNPGC colleagues as well as Coverack team.
