First social row in slightly choppy seas. Cox:Jim, 6: Tina, 5: Jayne, 4: Steve, 3: Wendy, 2: Me, 1: Branchy.

Second row was more experienced men row a seas got more choppy with rain and became very cold π₯Ά Cox: James, 5: Trevor, 4: Steve, 3: Tom, 2; Me, 1: Duncan.


After a few days awful weather, nice 6.6km long row towards the Mount and back in sunny π weather. Sea reasonably good. Cox: Emma, 6: Jem, 5: Trev, 4: Me, 3: Wendy, 2: Chris, 1: Branchy. Afterwards went to Longboat for a drink and collected new kit from Wendy.



Nice row in rather rainy weather. Good recovery row after yesterday evening. Cox: James, 6: Me, 5: Wendy, 4: Steve, 3: Marin. 2: John, 1: John. The seas were quite calm for a change

Evening training row in choppy seas. Went out on a strong πͺ row with a bucket/parachute behind us and raced back without the resistance of this device. Cox: Wendy, 6: Jim, 5; James,4: Steve,3: Trev, 2: Me and 2: Duncan. Plenty of of race starts also.

Wind dropped again and sea much better than yesterday. Rowed out forcefully to Border Force boat π₯οΈ. On way back did some starts and worked on technique. Good training session. After rows being cancelled all last week due to too high winds. The PNPGC men’s crew went for a row in choppy seas as winds still strong. I didn’t start my Garmin watch until 20 minutes out and therefore another 2km in distance. Cox: James, 6: Jim, 5: Trev, 4: Steve, 3: Tom, 2: me and 1: Duncan. Afterwards went for a drink in the Longboat.
