Official time 59.17 as started my Garmin just before the official start.

Great weather for the event, cool but also sunny. Started the day up at 5am and picked up by teammates Steve and Kevin. Travelled to Saltash to meet rest of the crew and to launch the borrowed gig Rhos as Maladron was having a painting makeover. The men’s crew was as follows: cox: Jim, 6: Mark, 5: Will, 4: Steve, 3 James, 2: Kevin and 1: me. As shown yesterday we were in Heat 3. We had a good start and completed the 6mile, 10km course in 59min 17sec. So good result for a scratch team with 3 Masters, 1 Supervet and a relatively new younger rower- results below.

we met up as whole team after dropping off the gig in Penzance and taking the trailer to Pendeen. Afterwards had a few 🍻 and other drinks in the fountain. Few photos below Team work is dream work

Looking forward to the Three Rivers Row tomorrow run by Caradon Gig Club. This 10km of 6 mile race will be tough due to poor training over the weeks due to a virus, chest infection and poor weather for rowing 🚣🏿 on the water
